Deutsche Bank

After the warm reception we received on our last road show visit from clients old and new, Bective Leslie Marsh once again took to the City and spent the day at Deutsche Bank in London Wall on the 10th May. The last event was such a success we though it would be fantastic to run another at the venue once again armed with another of our trade mark competitions this time to guess the price of a Chelsea house. Well done to all who entered and congratulations to our winner who we trust celebrated well with the prize of a jeroboam of champagne!

French Chamber of Commerce

Every year it seems London becomes more and more cosmopolitan with new companies and employees relocating to the capital to enjoy our favourable trading conditions and business atmosphere.

We have for many years dealt with the top French companies in London such as Air France, Accor Hotel and Resorts and Arsenal Football Club and have recently started selling properties on mainland France with some considerable success. This has encouraged us to develop our business further, join the French Chamber of Commerce and have appointed Thierry Gilgenkrantz to oversee this development. Thierry is a French national living in the UK who has specialist knowledge of the London market and the Cote d’Azur and is based at our Chelsea office.

Our first event was the member to member exhibition held at the Novotel hotel at Kings Cross on 6th February where great fun and much bonhomie were in evidence along with some tasty French bubbles. We again ran our popular competition of matching interior and exterior photographs and the winner, Trevor Goddard, received a jeroboam of top champagne for their trouble.

Deutsche Bank

Our “road show” made a scheduled visit on 18th January to the City to one of the giants of international banking, Deutsche Bank at London Wall. This was an opportunity to further extend our influence in this market and we were delighted to bump into several old clients and made many new interesting contacts. We are pleased to report that the City’s love affair with property is still in full swing.

Wine Challenge

A fun filled and liquid evening was had by London’s top estate agents courtesy of Bective Leslie Marsh who hosted the event for its second time. The evening was superbly managed by Jack Scott of Jascots wine merchants, and featured eight wines from around the globe where the participants were asked to guess the wine, grape variety, country of origin, vintage and price. Last years winners, Chesterfield, put up a spirited defence of their title only to be beaten at the last by the crack team from John D Wood who took this year’s honours. Congratulating them on their victory were teams from Douglas & Gordon, Savills, Strutt & Parker, Jackson Stopps & Staff, Marsh & Parsons, and Farrar & Co.

Bective Leslie Marsh helped with the event and it featured in the Lifestylers Magazine. The street became a Christmas wonderland with stands, mulled wine and even reindeer - a unique sight in central London! Sussex House Christmas Fair

Bective Leslie Marsh is very pleased to announce their involvement in the annual Christmas Fair being held at Sussex House School in Chelsea. The fair is becoming legendary in the area and grows in popularity each year. For a few hours the school is transformed into a festive wonderland with a magical Christmas tree, Santa’s grotto, various Christmassy stalls and food and drinks being served. The event raises funds for the school itself and also for the sister school in Africa.
